Structured addressing for a country that deserves it
Millions of addresses in Tunisia exist only as informal descriptions — “near the pharmacy, second left after the roundabout”. This makes delivery, emergency response, and e-commerce unreliable and costly.
T-Code assigns every property a unique, short alphanumeric code derived from its GPS coordinates and locality. The result is an address that fits in an SMS, survives a voice call, and resolves directly to a map pin — no ambiguity.
Our API makes that system available to any developer building for the Tunisian market.

How we got here
2023
T-Code concept
The founding idea: Tunisia needs a short, unique, memorable identifier for every physical address — like a postcode, but granular enough for individual properties.
2024
Grid engine & database
The T-Code grid algorithm was finalised and the national address database was built, covering all 24 governorates with locality bounding boxes.
2025
Developer API launch
Public API v1 launched with autocomplete, lookup, and T-Code generation endpoints. The Developer Portal opened for early access applications.
2026
Business codes & v2
T-Code v2 added verified business location codes, Geoapify-powered geocoding integration, and team-based API key management.
