Privacy Policy

T-Code (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the T-Code Developer Portal and Address API (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your data.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.

• Service delivery — authenticating your identity, processing API requests, and returning address and T-Code data.
• Billing & plan management — calculating usage against your plan quota and generating invoices.
• Security — detecting abuse, preventing unauthorised access, and responding to incidents.
• Communications — sending transactional emails (account verification, password reset, plan changes). We will not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
• Service improvement — analysing aggregate, anonymised usage patterns to improve API performance and accuracy.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

• Service providers — cloud hosting, transactional email, and payment processors acting as data processors under binding agreements.
• Legal obligation — when required to disclose information by Tunisian law, court order, or other binding legal process.
• Business transfer — in the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred to the successor entity subject to the same privacy protections.

We retain account information for as long as your account is active and for a further 90 days after deletion to allow for recovery. API request logs are retained for 12 months and then permanently deleted. Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics may be kept indefinitely.

We implement industry-standard safeguards including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage of sensitive fields, and access controls limited to authorised personnel. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Subject to Tunisian data-protection legislation you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities.

The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date above and, for material changes, notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
